Campsites: (two sites with a maximum of four people at each and one site with a maximum of six people)

Located nearby the office and info centre at the foot of the Gamkaberg overlooking the Klein Karoo Valley and the Swartberg Mountains. Explore various day hikes and overnight trails. 

Gamkaberg provides three campsites. The first two sites come equipped with sheltered areas where you can pitch your tent. The recently built third campsite is specifically designed to accommodate guests with vehicles equipped with rooftop tents and off-road trailers and also boasts a fire pit area.

Eco-friendly waterless toilets are just a few steps away from the camp sites.  With two additional outdoor showers, the campsites and stables share hot water (solar)and ablution facility close to the office that consists of gents' and ladies' shower, flushing toilets and an outdoor work surface and sink or scullery (about 50m from the site). 

The reserve makes use of borehole water at the tourism facilities. Clients are welcome to bring their own water. Campsites include electricity.
