BIG SALE at CapeNature, with 40% off this winter!

7 May 2015

When we say Big Sale, we mean BIG SALE. It’s our best deal yet, with 40% off a host of great self-catering accommodation*, which you can take advantage of ALL winter, PLUS you stand the chance of getting two free bottles of wine from Perdeberg Winery.

There’s nothing better than getting cosy in front of a fire on a cold winter evening, sipping on a glass of good wine (or a cup of hot chocolate) and letting the stresses of the week melt away. That’s why we’ve decided to give the public the chance to experience our great self-catering accommodation around the Western Cape at a big discount ALL WINTER.

From 1 May 2015 until 31 August 2015, a host of self-catering accommodation is being offered at 40% off. No, that’s not an error, and you did read it correctly. We’re giving you 40% off all bookings for accommodation before 31 August 2015*.

And the best part? If you book early enough you could get two bottles of wine into the bargain! Our friends over at Perdeberg Winery (the one with the zebra on the bottle) are giving the first 100 people to book on the winter special two FREE bottles of wine each. But hurry, because at 40% off, those first 100 spots are going to fly!

Now, we know what you’re thinking. Where should I book? Well, we’ve got you covered. Listed below are four great winter getaway ideas.

The Manor House, Assegaaibosch Nature Reserve, Stellenbosch

A romantic getaway nestled under the Jonkershoek mountains just an hour outside of Cape Town? Yes please!

While it’s able to sleep up to six people, the Manor House is also perfect for that romantic weekend away. The stately self-catering guesthouse is surrounded by 180-year-old oak trees and has a thatched roof, yellowwood beams and wooden floors and with a warm fireplace, large lounge, and renovated bedrooms and bathrooms, you won’t want to leave.

Eco-Cabins, Rocherpan Nature Reserve, West Coast

While the vlei at Rocherpan does dry up between March and June every year, this small reserve is still well worth a visit, with activities like mountain biking and hikes, as well as a private beach.

But the main attraction has to be the eco-cabins. These are ideal for a couple looking to escape the city and indulge in some quiet time on the starkly beautiful West Coast. Each has a double bed, en-suite bathroom, small lounge area, eco-loo, and an outside braai area with a stoep to enjoy the winter sunset.

Family cottages, Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve, Winelands

There are four newly renovated cottages at Vrolijkheid, ideal for a family trip. All can accommodate up to eight people each. There are four bedrooms in each, two with a double bed and two with two single beds. The cottages also feature an outside braai area, with two of them featuring a jacuzzi for entertaining.

Otters Rest Lodge, Goukamma Nature Reserve, Garden Route

The Garden Route’s relatively temperate year-round climate means it’s a cosy option no matter the season. And one of the best places to escape it all is Otter’s Rest Lodge in Goukamma Nature Reserve.

Set overlooking the ocean and river, the lodge sleeps four in two rooms with two single beds in each. An open-plan kitchen, dining room and lounge provide a space to relax and enjoy a crackling fire in the indoor fireplace. The main area opens out onto an expansive deck with braai facilities.

So why not take a break from the mundane this winter, get out there, and take advantage of a fantastic offer! Email reservation.alert@capenature.co.za or call us on (021) 483-0190.

* The 40% discount is only valid for bookings and travel until 31 August 2015. It excludes campsites, the Whale Trail and hiking trail huts. Ts and Cs apply.
