CapeNature recently hosted a captivating event in celebration of World Tourism Month, echoing the United Nations World Tourism Organisation's theme of "Tourism and Green Investments." The event brought together key stakeholders and partners committed to eco-tourism for a lively discussion on this vital theme.

The United Nations’ World Tourism Organisations (UNWTO) theme for International Tourism Month is, “Tourism and Green Investments”. This is a perfect fit for CapeNature, a trailblazer in developing award-winning eco-tourism infrastructure within protected areas.

CapeNature celebrates its 9^th annual Access Week between the 23^rd and 29^th of September 2023. The public are invited to access any one of 24 selected nature reserves across the Western Cape for free during this time. Visitors will be allowed day entry to enjoy walking, hiking, bird watching, swimming and mountain biking at no cost.

The Cape Peninsula Baboon Management Joint Task Team (JTT) consisting of representatives from SANParks, CapeNature, and the City of Cape Town, wants to inform the public that the draft Baboon Strategic Management Plan will be finalised by the end of September 2023, if all goes as planned.
